circadian lighting
intelligent sensing
cloud based AI
How we live is changing, technology and design are powerful tools but they need to be human centric and focused on enriching and enabling a better quality of daily life for those who need care.
What makes skyjoy system unique?
Intelligent sensor
Our unique intelligent sensor can actively identify falls and can send an alert to help carers respond quickly. The sensor also monitors patterns of movement.
Circadian lighting
We have designed our own high output LED quadrant board light engines with a range of colour temperatures from 2200K to 10,000K that are tuneable.
Cloud based AI
The data collected can be accessed and used to improve care practices, inform design planning, clinical interventions and to help predict potential falls or unusual movements that may indicate infections etc.
skyjoy system
technology
Skyjoy system uses trusted technology that delivers optimal integration and functionality.
Passive Sensing
Contained within the light, the system sensor is not a camera and does not intrude or require wearables so protects privacy.
Easy integration
Light contains a modular, easy to replace sensor which means future upgrades can be installed over it’s operating life.
Cost effective installation
Using Bluetooth switches means no costly wall tracking or cabling.
Low running costs
Skyjoy system uses Bluetooth Low Energy wireless network technology providing smart power conservation when in operation.
Data analytics
Sensor collects data giving users meaningful data and information that can be used to implement improved care and resource management.
Reliable mesh network
The technology provides a mesh network where all the intelligence of the system is replicated in every node and creates a system with no single points of failure.
Smart and Healthy Ageing through People Engaging in Supportive Systems (SHAPES)
It's phenomenal that Skyjoy has been selected as one of a small number of companies throughout Europe to receive SHAPES funding and support.
